Curriculumify

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Curriculumify handles personal information when you use our website, mobile apps, and institution services.

Last updated: 17 July 2026

Who is responsible

Curriculumify is responsible for the consumer service. Institutions may also act as independent data controllers for student rosters, access assignments, progress status, and warning information that they manage. Contact us at contact@curriculumify.com.

Information we process

We process account information such as name, email address, authentication provider identifiers, and language; CV and career information that you submit; generated evaluations and progress; support communications; purchase and entitlement status; and essential technical data needed for security, diagnostics, and service operation. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, payment providers, hosting providers, and AI-processing providers may process limited data on our behalf or under their own terms.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, provide and improve CV creation and evaluation features, deliver purchased access, synchronize subscriptions, support institution-managed access, prevent abuse, respond to requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Legal bases

Depending on the context, we process information to perform our contract with you, based on your consent, for legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, or to comply with law. Institutions are responsible for establishing a valid basis for student information they upload or manage.

Institutions and student visibility

If an institution gives you access, its authorized staff may see the information described in the applicable institution settings, such as whether access was activated, completion state, evaluation status or score, last activity, and configured warning indicators. Curriculumify does not expose the full contents of a CV to an institution unless that scope is expressly enabled and lawfully communicated to the student.

Retention and deletion

We retain active account content while your account is in use and for the periods necessary to provide the service. Security logs, support records, and legally required transaction records may be kept for limited additional periods. You can delete your account and associated consumer content at curriculumify.com/delete-account. Some records controlled by an institution or retained for legal accounting duties may be kept in de-identified or legally required form.

Sharing and international processing

We share data only with service providers and institution administrators as needed for the purposes above, or when required by law. Providers may process data in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate contractual and transfer safeguards.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Send requests to contact@curriculumify.com.

Children

The consumer service is not directed to children under 13. When a school or other institution enables access for a minor, that institution must have the authority and notices or consents required by applicable law. Parents or guardians may contact us about a minor’s information.

Security and changes

We use organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect information, but no online system is completely secure. We may update this policy and will publish the updated date and any notice required by law.
